Andrew & Carmen Pereira
Andrew and Carmen are second-generation missionaries. Both of their families have a history of serving as missionaries in Brazil.
They have been dedicated to serving the Lord from a young age and started serving full-time in 2015. Throughout the years, their focus has been on evangelism and discipleship for children.
Presently, Andrew holds the position of executive director at Haven of Hope Brazil. Carmen, on the other hand, takes charge of organizing the Kids Club, a program designed for children's spiritual growth and development.
Andrew and Carmen are also parents to three children.
Haven of Hope is a non-profit organization founded by american baptist missionaries in 2001 and began serving the community in 2005.
The organization's primary focus is teaching children the Bible and giving them the opportunity to learn more about the gospel.
In addition to teaching the gospel, the organization also offers math, Portuguese, art, and computer science classes to the participating children.

Kids Club
In 2016, Carmen started the Kids Club for neighborhood kids who didn't attend church.
The club meets on Saturdays and includes Bible study, song singing, lunch together, and games.
Most of the children who attend come from non-Christian backgrounds and after learning the gospel, they share the Word of God with their families.
